Need to impress your guests at a dinner party of just wanting an alternative to salmon sashimi? Consider this light and zesty kingfish Carpaccio with ponzu dressing with extra umami from Rainbow Seaweed Flakes and Seasoning.
Products used in this recipe - Alg Rainbow Seaweed Flakes, Alg Rainbow Seaweed Seasoning - Chickpea Miso and Crunchy Sesame.
300 grams of sashimi-grade kingfish fillet
1 tsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of lime juice
1 tsp of lemon juice
Zest of half a lemon
2 tbsp of mirin
2 tsp sesame oil
Alg Rainbow Seaweed flakes
Alg Rainbow Seasoning - Chickpea Miso and Crunchy Sesame
Micro herbs for garnish
1Combine juice, mirin, soy sauce and zest in a bowl. Taste to the desired flavor
2Carefully sharpen a knife and cut kingfish into thin slices ~ 0.5cm in thickness
3Arrange kingfish on a plate. Sprinkle on onions, avocado and pickled ginger
4Drizzle the dressing and sesame oil
5Garnish with Alg Rainbow Seaweed Flakes, Rainbow Seaweed Seasoning and microherbs
