Overnight Oats with Seaweed Flakes

A quick and easy breakfast solution for working adults, school kids, or anyone who’s looking to start their day with a healthy meal. Overnight oats can be kept in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. This means that you can prepare your oats ahead for a grab-and-go meal during the workweek. This recipe does not only help to simplify your morning routine; it is also a great way to increase your daily fibre intake. 

Products used in this recipe - Rainbow Seaweed Flakes

cup rolled oats

1 tsp chia seeds

½ cup milk

½ cup fruit of your choice (berries, bananas)

¼ cup nuts of your choice (walnuts, almond, hazelnut)

2 tsp Alg Rainbow Seaweed Flakes

Drizzle of sweetener (honey/rice malt syrup), optional


1Combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and milk in a small bowl or mason jar.

2Stir well to combine.

3Cover securely with a lid and refrigerate overnight.

4The next morning, top with Alg Rainbow Seaweed Flakes, fruits and nuts of your choice.

5Add a drizzle of syrup or honey if you’d like.

6Enjoy it chilled!
