Chilli Nuts

Product used in this recipe: Rainbow Seaweed Chilli Seasoning

Makes 10 serves

Ingredients

2 cups of nuts of your choice or mixed nuts, raw*
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp Alg Rainbow Seaweed Chilli
1 tsp Alg Rainbow Seaweed Salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients except nuts in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  4. Then, add in the nuts and stir to evenly coat the nuts with seasonings.
  5. Spread seasoned nuts on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Stirring every 10 minutes.
  7. Watch carefully to make sure it doesn’t burn.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  9. Store in airtight containers.

Notes

*We recommend using raw and unsalted nuts so that you can control the amount of fat and salt that goes into it.
